                                ELEMENTS OF THE STORY:

Character:
  1. Sister
  2. Five Brothers
  3. Mother
  4. Father
  5. Titius Fourth
Setting:
  • Marikina, Taurus St. Hermanos
  •  Ortigas
  •  Cinco HermanoMajor Santos Dizon connects with Marcos H-way within Katipunan Ave.

PLOT:
  •  Exposition: The Marikina house wasn't finished yet, but with an ultimatum hanging over our heads, we had  no choice but to move in. Just how unfinished the house was became bruisingly clean on our first night. There was no electricity yet, and the window didn't have screen. There were mosquitoes I couldn't sleep the whole night.
  • Climax: As we grew older and drifted farther and farther away from her gasp, defining our own lives outside of the house. my mother must have felt that she was losing us to friends, jobs, loves-forces beyond her control.
  • Conflict: Man vs. Nature, because they can't sleep without electricity and it the mosquito was biting them. Also Man vs.Self, because their mother start to get lonely as they grow up, because she was thinking that, time was so fast and someday those children he was taking care of will leave her soon.
  • Solution: After a couple years their house was furnished but not fully furnished, because it doesn't have paint yet.  And the mother used her boredom in house organizing and buying some stuff.
  •  Ending: After see off the last guests after the most recent gathering, she sighed, "Ang kalat  ng bahay " I didn't see her face but I could hear her smiling. My father replied "Masaya ka naman." It wasn't a secret.

 THEME: Mother's Love
MORAL: Mother's knows best. Don't be annoyed when our mother keep talking and talking or keep on yelling on us. She's just making it right, and one day if she's no longer doing that we'll going to miss her.
FEEDBACK: After reading this story, for me as a Family Oriented person I really love this story because it opens our mind that we should value and love our Family because they're the one who's always there for us in good times or in bad. Never forget to prioritize them, never ignore them, and never disobey them because they always know whats best for us.
